Lisa Lamb

Class Year: MBA 2004

I am seeking election to the SCSU Alumni Association Board of Directors to contribute my leadership experience and support the continued growth of the institution where I earned my MBA. I recently retired from nearly 35 years of military service, culminating in the rank of Colonel, where I led complex organizations, managed diverse teams, and oversaw strategic operations across the Pacific region. These roles strengthened my ability to build consensus, guide long‑term planning, and steward resources responsibly—skills that translate directly to effective board governance. In addition to my military career, I have served on several boards and advisory groups focused on community engagement, organizational development, and education. I have also worked as an educator for the University of Michigan and the University of Hawai‘i, teaching leadership, management, and organizational studies. I am currently a doctoral student at Pepperdine University, where my research centers on strategic leadership and organizational resilience. I am committed to giving back to SCSU and supporting initiatives that strengthen alumni engagement, student success, and the university’s long‑term vision.
