Along the way, he won his fourth-straight NE10 and NEICAAA New England Championships and finished fourth with a throw of 75.32m (247’1″) at the prestigious Drake Relays which featured some of the top javelin talent in the world.
The 2024 United States Olympic track and field trials will take place at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon from June 21–30, 2024. The javelin throw is one of the 44 events that will be held during the 10-day competition, which is organized by USA Track and Field.
The trials will serve as the national championships and a qualifying event to select Team USA for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, which will take place from July 26–August 11. To be eligible to compete in the Olympics, athletes must achieve the Olympic standard set by World Athletics, which is 75.00 meters for the javelin throw. The event will be comprised of 24 athletes over two rounds.
