Established in 1972, the SCSU Foundation receives, invests, and administers gifts and financial resources from private sources for the benefit of all programs at Southern. Our long-range goal is to be philanthropic leaders who provide the ongoing support Southern needs to fulfill its mission—both on campus and in the community. The SCSU Foundation is the recognized 501(c)(3) entity designated and approved to receive gifts on behalf of the University.
The Foundation proudly supports scholarships, faculty support services, student services, technology, faculty research, professorships, lectureships, and initiatives that promote the University’s strategic plan. Learn more about giving opportunities.
Foundation Board of Directors
The SCSU Foundation’s elected board of directors is a dedicated and influential group that supports Southern’s students and its educational mission by assuming fiduciary responsibilities, serving as advocates for fundraising, and championing Southern’s mission to the business community, philanthropic circles, government, and general public.
