Everett Shaw, MBA ‘02

Everett W. Shaw, ASA, is the owner and president of B.H. Burke & Co., Inc. He serves as a financial adviser to the owners and managers of privately held compa¬nies, and in particular to insurance organizations.  The subjects on which he advises are business valuation; the development of business value; mergers, acquisitions, and other combi¬na¬tions and alliances; internal ownership transfer and business-continuity planning; owner-executive compensation; sales-related topics, including compensation, employment agreements, and independent-contractor arrangements; strategic planning; and conflict resolution.

Everett earned his undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut State University and his graduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University.  He lives in Cheshire, CT, with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys running, skiing, and relaxing on the beach.
