Police social workers must skillfully practice across the micro (individuals and families), mezzo (groups and community), and macro systems (organizations, legislation, research, and policy). This year’s conference theme, “Emerging Practices in Police Social Work,” encourages participants to submit proposals on how police social workers acquire knowledge and advance practice skills in the developing field of police social work across the multi-tier system: micro, mezzo, and macro.
